Fund Raiser

  Being a Formula student  , we face problems in generating such huge amount required for the completion of the car. The cost of manufacturing and testing is quite high and it is huge barrier to our growth. The monetary support you provide will help as to concentrate more on the deigning and manufacturing part of the car and it eases our work.
We are crowdfunding 2,00,000 in a span of 40 days.

Our Journey

We've loved every minute we spent in our team

An Idea was Born

On 2014 our seniors had a vision of designing and building a formula style car . Which later emerged as a team with budding engineers  who were redeemed to achieve our goal. And the team was named as Steadfasters for  participating in SAE SUPRA.

First year 2014 Event

Being our first year car , a huge effort was put in the design. A Royal enfield sourced 500cc engine powered the SF01. The team anchored the static events , but failed to qualify in TI . Yet came out with a healthy 40th position.

Second year 2015 Event

This was our second year car , which had lot of inputs from each students.We tried our best to sneak through Technical Inspection but we were left with a faulty steering and broken control arm. Concentrating on TI we failed to perform at other static events. Finally left out with a disappointing 81st position

Third year 2016 Event

Third car from our team  and  we performed good this season . We successfully Cleared technical inspection. And secured 61st place out of 123 teams who arrived to the track with their cars.  This is the beginning and there is more to come in the upcoming years.

The Revolution 2017

The preparations for our next year had kicked off already. The Team is aiming for a huge improvement for upcoming years . We are currently working for a  major revamp to our car design in all components from A to Z in our car. So it will be a fresh design with a competitive design.
A dream doesn't become reality through magic:

ABOUT US

   Steadfasters is Students Formula  team from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College Sivakasi , Tamilnadu , India . Students from our college has already participated in various events like SAE BAJA and SAE SUPRA had performed well to our expectations Our team consists of 25 Members ,who work towards a  goal of becoming one of the best Formula students Team from India . We have been participating in such events from 2008.  The Team is completely handled by young Engineering students.


SAE SUPRA

  • SAE INDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International, registered as an Indian non profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility community in India.

  • This event provides a real world engineering challenge for the   SAE INDIA Student members that reflects the steps involved in the entire process from design and engineering to production to marketing and endurance. 


  • The event will be held in Madras Motor racing track or BUDDH International Circuit, Noida for SUPRA each year.


  • Every year 100+ colleges appear for this competition from  our nations.
